NETWORK SETUP FOR EACH OPERATING SYSTEM19up the print queue, the print server and the printer in the NetWare environ-ment.This subsection describes how to set them using PCONSOLE of theNetWare 4.x.1. To start the NetWare client1 Start the NetWare client PC. Log in to the NetWare server fromadmin (or the account to which the administrator privilege hasbeen granted).2 Start PCONSOLE.2. To create a print queue1 Select “Change context” from “Items that can be used”.2 Press Insert key in the text box “Enter context:”3 Move the cursor to the directory where you will create a print queuefrom “Object, Class” and press F10 key. The context is displayedat upper left area of the PCONSOLE screen. Make sure that thismatches with the context you wish to have.4 Select “Print queue” from “Items that can be used”, and open the“Print queue” list.5 Press the Insert key, type the name of a print queue you will createin the text box “New print queue name:” and press the Enter key.(Make sure not to use an already existing print queue name.)6 Press the Insert key in the text box “Print queue volume:”, selectthe volume where a print queue will be created, from “Object,class” and press the Enter key.7 The newly created print queue name is added to “Print queue”.3. To create a print server1 Select “Change context” from “Items that can be used”.2 Press Insert key in the text box “Enter context:”3 Move the cursor to the directory where you will create a print serverfrom “Object, Class” and press F10 key.
