Top cover open/close bolts (2)Loosen using the supplied Allen key, open the top cover. HeaterWhen the controller’s H/F switch is at ON, the heater willcome on whenever the temperature inside the camerahousing drops. Ventilating fanWhen the controller’s H/F switch is at ON, the fan willcome on whenever the temperature inside the camerahousing rises.Depending on the temperature, the fan operates at thehigh or low setting.Use the switch at the ON setting because a highcamera temperature will adversely affect the camera’sperformance. GripUsed to carry the camera housing. I/F connectorConnect this to the I/F connector on the main unit. Wiper bladeReplace the wiper blade when it can no longer wipe offwaterdrops well.How to replace it: Raise the blade at the center, pull it upand off, and fit a new blade in its place.After replacing the blade, check that thetwo rods holding the wiper blade areparallel to the glass surface.( Whenever the wiper blade needsreplacement, ask the store where youpurchased the product to do the job.) Wiper unitUsed to wipe off waterdrops during or after a rain. Thewiper operates when the WIP switch on the controller ispressed on. DefrosterThe anti-fogging heater is vapor-deposited. It turns onwhen the controller’s DEF switch is set to ON, and it isturned off by the thermo switch when the temperaturerises above the rating. Housing mounting railsAlign the rails with the housing mount frame which isinstalled on the rotary arm of the main unit, and slide thehousing along the rails. Housing mounting screw holes (2)Use these holes to secure the housing using the housingsecuring bolts provided with the housing mount framewhich has been installed on the rotary arm of the mainunit.
