You canalso turn this feature on or off manually.1 Press {MENU} during an outsidecall.2 Press {3} to select “Booster on”or “Booster off”.Note:L When this feature is turned offmanually during a call, it does notautomatically turn on again during thesame call.L While this feature is turned on:– the battery operating time isshortened (page 20)– the maximum number of extensionsthat can be used at a time maydecreaseCall share NThis feature allows you to join anexisting outside call.When another unit is on an outside call,press {TEL} or {IP} to select the line thatis being used for the call.Note:L Multiple parties can join a conferencecall. The possible number ofparticipating parties depends on thecurrent system usage. When anotherparticipating party cannot join aconversation, the busy tone soundsand the handset displays “Busy”.Call privacy NCall privacy allows you to prevent otherusers from joining your conversationswith outside callers. To allow other usersto join your conversations, leave thisfeature off.1 Press {MENU} during an outsidecall.2 Press {2} to select “Privacy on”or “Privacy off”.L When this feature is turned on,“PRIV.” is displayed.Note:L This feature will turn off after you hangup the call.Using the other line,conference call NWhen a call is being received on theother line during a conversation, theinterrupt tones sound.You can answer the 2nd call whileholding the 1st call. You can alsocombine the landline call and internetcall to make a conference call.Example: If you are using the landline1 Press {HOLD} 2 times to put the 1stcall (landline) on hold.2 Press {IP} to make or answer a 2ndcall.L To hold the 2nd call, press{HOLD} 2 times.3 To hang up the 2nd call andreturn to the 1st call (landline):Press {TEL}.To make a conference call:Press {CONF}.L To hang up only one line, press{TEL} or {IP} for the party withwhich you want to continuetalking.L To put both lines on hold, press{HOLD}. To talk with only onecaller, press {TEL} or {IP} for theparty with which you want tocontinue talking.
