After 1 additional minute onhold, the call is disconnected.L k If another phone is connected tothe same line (page 19), you can alsotake the call by lifting its handset.MUTE button fWhile mute is turned on, you can hearthe other party, but the other partycannot hear you.To mute your voice, press {MUTE}.L To return to the conversation, press{MUTE} or {s}.FLASH button fkPressing {FLASH} allows you to usespecial features of your host PBX suchas transferring an extension call, oraccessing optional telephone services.Note:L To change the flash time, see page55.lPressing {FLASH} allows you to useoptional services from A. Press{IP} to talk with the 1st caller again. Ifyou do not press {IP}, the alarm tonesounds for 1 minute and the 1st call isdisconnected.You can combine the calls to make aconference call by pressing {FLASH}again after the 2nd call is connected.L To hang up the 2nd call and talk withthe 1st caller, press {FLASH}.L To hang up both lines, press {s}.For Call Waiting service usersfCall Waiting service is provided by yourlandline service provider and A.This feature allows you to receive callswhile you are already talking on thephone.
