16 Troubleshooting the BL-WV10A[For assistance, please call: 1-800-272-7033] 15516.8 Connectivity16.9 Indicators on the BL-WV10AIssue Causes and SolutionsYou cannot connect to acamera after registering itfor the MAC address filter.To register MAC address filtering for a wireless-compatible camera, register both MAC addressesassigned to the camera (the MAC addresses for thecamera’s wired interface and its wireless interface).Refer to the Operating Instructions included with yourcamera for information on confirming the camera’sMAC addresses.Issue Causes and SolutionsAfter turning the power on,the indicator is either solidamber or flashing amber.The Ethernet cable is not correctly connected.• Re-connect the Ethernet cable.The router is not working properly.• Check the router.You are attempting to connect a BL-C30A in wiredmode but the wired/wireless switch is set towireless, or you are attempting to work in awireless mode and the wired/wireless switch isset to wired.• Set the switch to the appropriate setting.The wireless settings are different for the routerand the BL-WV10A. (for wireless cameras)• Re-perform Quick Setup.The indicator continues toflash green.The Quick Setup settings are incomplete.• Re-perform Quick Setup.The indicator continues toflash red.There is something wrong with a camera.• Contact your dealer.The indicator is red. Privacy Mode is turned on.• Either press the PRIVACY button on the frontof the camera or turn off Privacy Mode (seepage 111).The indicator does notturn green when using thewireless LAN.The signal is bad.
