9914.11 ECO OperationPurpose This operation is use to reduce electrical power consumption by combining both temperature shifting and currentlimitation.Control Condition ECO operation start conditiono When POWERFUL/ECO button at remote control is pressed 2 times until ECO will be shown on remotecontrol display and LED indicator light is ON. ECO operation stop conditiono POWERFUL/ECO button is pressed again.o Stop by OFF/ON switch.o Timer OFF activates.o Sleep mode timer delay OFF. Control contentso ECO operation starts when the ECO button is pressed during AUTO, COOL, DRY, HEAT and Sleepoperation.o During Sleep operation the Sleep control temperature shift will be cancel and follow ECO temperature shift.o During ECO operation, all indicators includes ECO indicator will be dimmed. The brightness level isequivalent to indicator dim function.o When ECO operation is operates in Cooling operation, target temperature shift will be adjusted by maximum+1.0°C. (Internal setting temperature limit will be adjusted to ≤1°C)o When ECO operation is operates in Heating operation, target temperature shift will be adjusted by maximum-1.0°C. (Internal setting temperature limit will be adjusted to ≥-1°C)o Temperature shift will be adjusted every 10 minutes until target temperature shift is achieved.o Target temperature shift will be reset to 0°C once the remote controller setting temperature is reduce inCooling operation.o Once Eco operation is ON, operating current will be reduced . Maximum current limitation can achieve up to50%.o Then the counter will start to count the room temperature achieved time in order to adjust the current limit.The current adjustment will be count as follow:Target time to achieve Set Temperature Current limitation15 – 30 minutes Maintain< 15 minutes Increase< 30 minutes Decreaseo Current limitation will continue for maximum 40 minutes. If setting temperature cannot be achievecontinuously for 42 minutes, then the current limitation will be cancel and only temperature shifting willremain. Fan Speedo Follow remote control setting. Vertical Airflow Directiono Follow remote control setting.
