23RQT7458RecordingPreparation≥Change the settings in the SETUP menu as follows (➡page 43).–“AV2 Input”: “RGB (Not NTSC)”–“AV2 Connection”: “Normal”Follow the steps indicated for manuallyprogramming timer recordings(➡ page 22).≥Make sure you connect to the “TV Scart terminal” of a Sky DigitalSTB with a 21-pin Scart lead.≥Set your Sky Digital STB to output “RGB” signals.≥After setting the Personal Planner programmes as required, SkyDigital STB must be left on (not set to standby) to ensurecontinuous output of RGB signals.≥Even when the unit is turned off, you can display the timerrecording list by pressing [PROG/CHECK].Press [PROG/CHECK].∫ To change a programmePress [3, 4] to select the programme and press [ENTER].(➡page 22, step 3)∫ To delete a programmePress [3, 4] to select the programme and press [¢ CANCEL].∫ To exit the timer recording listPress [PROG/CHECK].∫ To put the unit on timer recording standbyPress [F TIMER].“F” lights on the unit’s display to indicate timer recording standbyhas been activated.≥Programmes that failed to record are displayed gray. They areautomatically deleted from the timer recording list at 4 a.m. twodays later.[HDD] [RAM] [DVD-R]If an external equipment (for example a satellite receiver) with atimer function is connected to the AV2 terminal of this unit by a21-pin Scart lead (➡ page 7, 10), it is possible to control therecording of the unit with the equipment.Preparation≥Change the “Ext Link” in the SETUP menu to match the connectedequipment (➡ page 43).≥Timer programming has to be done on the external equipment andswitch to the timer recording standby mode.
