1.1 General FeaturesFeatures Guide 103Do Not Disturb (DND)DescriptionAllows an extension user to appear busy to an incoming extension call or allows to transfer anincoming outside call to the assigned extension. This can be set or cancelled by the extensionuser.Conditions• If your digital proprietary telephone (DPT) is not supplied with the FWD/DND button, itcan be assigned on a flexible button.• DND does not work for the following calls: doorphone calls; recalls for hold/TimedReminder alarm.• A DPT user in DND mode can answer a call by pressing the button showing the arrival ofthe call.• An extension in DND mode can be called by other extension users who are allowed tooverride DND in their Class of Service (Do Not Disturb Override).• The following extensions cannot set DND: operator, the Call Forwarding (C.FWD)destination or the DND destination.• When the extension has set the C.FWD, Do Not Disturb (DND) for Intelligent CallHandling 1:1 Call, the extension cannot be a DND destination.• Setting this feature cancels C.FWD or Do Not Disturb (DND) for Intelligent Call Handling1:1 Call.• If the destination extension has DND activated, then the DSS button corresponding to it willlight up red.
