1.6 Memory Dialling FeaturesFeature Guide 611.6.1.7 Hot LineDescriptionA single line telephone (SLT) user can make an outgoing call to a previously stored telephone number (upto 32 digits) simply by going off-hook. If the Hot Line feature is set and the user goes off-hook, a special dialtone (dial tone 2) is generated for a preprogrammed time period ( Hot Line Waiting Time [203]), and thendialling starts. During this waiting time, the user can dial another party, overriding the Hot Line feature.This feature is also known as Pickup Dialling.Conditions• This feature cannot be programmed on rotary SLTs.• This feature will not function when the extension user goes off-hook to answer an incoming call orretrieve a call on hold.User Manual References1.2.2 Easy Dialling
