You can add 50 namesand phone numbers to the shared phonebook,and assign each phonebook entry to thedesired group.Important:L Only 1 person can access the sharedphonebook at a time.L Call Display subscribers can use groupringer tone features (page 28).Adding entries1 {C} s {ADD}2 Enter the party’s name (16 charactersmax.). s {OK}3 Enter the party’s phone number (24 digitsmax.). s {OK}4 {r}: Select the desired group. s{SELECT} 2 timesL To add other entries, repeat from step2.5 {OFF}Character table for entering namesWhile entering characters, you can switchbetween uppercase and lowercase bypressing * (A→a).L To enter another character that is locatedon the same dial key, first press {>} tomove the cursor to the next space.L If you do not press any dial key within 5seconds after entering a character, thecharacter is fixed and the cursor moves tothe next space.L in the above table represents a singlespace.Erasing the character or numberPress {<} or {>}. s {CLEAR}L Press and hold {CLEAR} to erase allcharacters or numbers.GroupsGroups can help you find entries in thephonebook quickly and easily. When addingan entry to the phonebook, you can assign it toone of 9 groups. You can change the names ofgroups assigned for phonebook entries(“Friends”, “Family”, etc.) and then search forphonebook entries by group.
