L Make sure the batteries are installed correctly (page 11).L Fully charge the batteries (page 11).L Check the connections (page 10).L Unplug the base unit’s AC adaptor to reset the unit and turn offthe handset. Reconnect the adaptor, turn on the handset andtry again.L The handset has not been registered to the base unit. Registerthe handset (page 30).The handset display isblank.L The handset is not turned on. Turn the power on (page 15).I cannot hear a dial tone. L Make sure that you are using the supplied telephone line cord.Your old telephone line cord may have a different wiringconfiguration.L The base unit’s AC adaptor or telephone line cord is notconnected. Check the connections.L Disconnect the base unit from the telephone line and connectthe line to a known working telephone. If the workingtelephone operates properly, contact our service personnel tohave the unit repaired.
