The next timesomeone calls from the same areacode, caller information is customized bythe unit as follows:– When the call is being received, theCaller ID number is displayed in thesame format as the edited number.– After the call has ended, the caller’sphone number is displayed in thesame format as the edited number,when reviewed from the caller list.For example, you can use this feature toset the unit to ignore the area code ofcallers in your area, so that you can callthese local numbers using callerinformation without dialing the area code.To activate this feature, you must edit anentry in the caller list, then call thatnumber. After that, phone numbers fromthat caller’s area code are editedautomatically.This feature can be set for each unit(page 44).
