However even when the ringer volume is turned off, the handset rings forpaging (page 13).*2 If you select one of the melody ringtones, the ringtone will continue to sound for several secondsif the caller hangs up before you answer. You may hear a dial tone or no one on the line when youanswer a call.*3 You can select between 3 kinds of wallpapers and “Off”.*4 The handset automatically switches to the selected dimmed backlight mode after 1 minute ofcharging without key activity:– “Off”: Backlight turns off.– “On”: Backlight is dimmed.– “For 10 minutes”: Backlight is dimmed for 10 minutes then turns off.
