Useful Information24I cannot make or receive calls. L The base unit AC adaptor or telephone line cord is notconnected. Check the connections.L If you are using a splitter to connect the unit, remove thesplitter and connect the unit to the wall socket directly. Ifthe unit operates properly, check the splitter.L Disconnect the base unit from the telephone line andconnect the line to a known working telephone. If theworking telephone operates properly, contact our servicepersonnel to have the unit repaired. If the workingtelephone does not operate properly, contact your serviceprovider/telephone company.L The dialling mode setting is incorrect. Set to “Tone” or“Pulse” as needed (page 11).L The key lock feature is turned on. Turn it off (page 13).The unit does not ring. L The ringer volume is turned off.
