You need to select the desired base unit touse the handset with (page 19).Registering a handset to abase unitThe supplied handset and base unit are pre-registered. If for some reason the handset is notregistered to the base unit (for example, w flasheseven when the handset is near the base unit),register the handset.1 Press and hold {x} on the base unit for about5 seconds until a beep is heard.L If all registered handsets start ringing, press{x} to stop, then repeat this step.L After a beep is heard, the rest of thisprocedure must be completed within 1minute.2 {MENU} (right soft key) i r i {OK}3 {^}/{V}: “Registration” i {OK}4 {^}/{V}: “Register Handset” i {OK}5 {^}/{V}: Select a base unit number. i {OK}L This number is used by the handset as areference only.L The registered base unit is indicated by “@”.6 “Enter PIN” is displayed.
