To turn Call Waiting Deluxe on/offHandset / Base unitTo use Call Waiting Deluxe, you must turn thisfeature on. The default setting is “Off”.1 MMENUN#2152 MbN: Select the desired setting. aMSAVEN a MOFFNCall Waiting Deluxe service optionsWhen a 2nd call is received, you can choosehow to handle the call by selecting an optionshown on the unit display.Note:R Your phone service provider may not offerall of the options (page 46).Displayedoption FunctionAnswer Answers the waiting call,while keeping the 1st callon hold.Hold Holds the waiting call. Thecaller will hear thepre-recorded holdmessage played by yourphone service provider.Announce The caller will hear thepre-recorded busymessage played by yourphone service provider (forexample, “We are notavailable now.”) and willthen be disconnected.Forward Forwards the waiting call tothe voicemail serviceprovided by your phoneservice provider.
