Special Features43Call RestrictionYou can prevent the unit from diallingphone numbers beginning withspecified digit(s) (1 digit or 2 digits).Phone numbers with the restrictedleading digits cannot be dialled out,except the emergency numbers (#)stored in the Phonebook and DirectDial memory ({M1}, {M2} or {M3}).To set the call restrictionMake sure that the handset is on thecradle, the AC adaptor is connectedand the Speakerphone/headset {s/W}indicator light is off.1 Press .2 Scroll to “Program ?” bypressing {4} or {3} andpress {OK} (Yes key).3 Scroll to “Call restrict ?”by pressing {4} or {3}.4 Press {OK} (Yes key).If you changed the password“1111” (default), the display onthe right will be shown. Followthe following steps 1 and 2.1. Enter the password (p. 41).2. Press {OK} (Next key). Go tostep 5.• If the wrong password wasentered, 3 beeps will sound.Enter the correct password.5 Enter the number(s) (1 digit or 2digits) you want to restrict ({0} to{9}).• If the wrong number was entered,press { } and enter the correctnumber.6 Press {OK} (Save key).• A long beep sounds.• The display will return to step 3.
