Check the following forexamples.Under exposedCompensate the exposure toward positive.Properly exposedOver exposedCompensate the exposure toward negative.1 Press 3 several times until[ EXPOSURE] appears andthen compensate the exposure.• You can compensate from j2 EV toi2 EV in steps of 1/3 EV.• EV is an abbreviation for Exposure Value,and it is the amount of light given to theCCD by the aperture value and the shutterspeed.• The compensation range of the exposurewill be limited depending on thebrightness of the subject.• The exposure compensation valueappears on the lower left of the screen.• The set exposure value is memorizedeven if the camera is turned off.EXPOSURESELECT EXIT
