But, if NTSCchannel is selected, the output will be PCM.Program Out Connection (PROG OUT)You can connect a VCR to the PROG OUT terminal torecord the program you are viewing on-screen. An externalmonitor can also be connected to the PROG OUT and TOAUDIO AMP terminals Connect the VCR as shown belowProcedureConnect the VCR to PROG OUT and TO AUDIO AMPterminalsPROG OUT terminal display is the same as on-screendisplay.See the VCR instruction manual for further instructionsfor recording the program.Notes:This TV contains Video and Audio Outputs for thepurpose of recording television programming to VCR.Due to license restrictions, ifa device (STB, DVD, etc.) isconnected to the HDMI input of the TV, no video or audiooutput is allowed.Program Out signal may not be available whencomponent input is selected for main picture.Program Out signal is available when receiving digitalchannel. However, all digital formats are down convertedto composite NTSC video.When receiving digital or analog channels signals andthe analog or digital CC is ON, Program Out connectorwill output open caption text in the NTSC video picture.
