ENGLISH - 27 Basic OperationRemote control operationYou can operate the projector with the remote controlwithin the remote range 15 m (49'2"), approximately± 30° vertically and horizontally.Q Facing to the projectorEnsure the remote control emitter is facing to theremote control signal receptor on front/back of theprojector and press the required buttons tooperate.Q Facing to the screenEnsure the remote control emitter is facing to thescreen and press the required buttons to operatethe projector. The signal will be reflected off thescreen. The operating range may differ due to thescreen material. This function may not be effectivewith a translucent screen.You can adjust the setting of SHIFT, DOTCLOCK and CLOCK PHASE in the POSITIONmenu automatically for the projectedCOMPUTER signal image.With DVI signal, adjust SHIFT setting only.Operating range(Shown as PT-F300NTE)NOTE:• Do not let strong light shine onto the signal receptor.The remote control may malfunction under strong lightsuch as fluorescent.• If there are any obstacles between the remote controland the remote control signal receptor, the remotecontrol may not operate correctly.Setting up the image position automaticallyNOTE:• If the dot clock frequency is 150 MHz or higher, AUTOSETUP is not effective.• If the projected image is dark or blurred around theedge, AUTO SETUP may stop the processing beforecomplete. Project a much clearer or lighter image andpress the AUTO SETUP button again.• When there is no signal input and SIGNAL SEARCH inDISPLAY OPTION menu is ON, the auto signaldetecting system will start.Screen Projected image
