E NGLISH -31 Useful functions30-ENGLISHCorrecting the image positionautomatically (AUTO SETUP)This projector can adjust the position of the image and the settings for “DOTCLOCK” and “CLOCK PHASE” when PC signals are being input.Turning off the picture and soundmomentarily (SHUTTER)The “SHUTTER” function can be used to momentarily turn off the picture andsound from the projector when the projector is not being used for shortperiods of time, such as during breaks in meetings or when carrying outpreparation. The projector uses less power in “SHUTTER” mode than it doesin normal projection mode.Press the AUTO SETUP button while PC signalsare being projected.B Automatic positioningwill be carried out.ScreenProjectedimageNOTE:B If the dot clock frequency is 100 MHz or higher, “DOT CLOCK”, and“CLOCK PHASE” will not be adjusted automatically. Refer to page 48 fordetails.B If the edges of the projected image are indistinct, or if a dark picture isbeing projected, the automatic setup processing may stop automaticallybefore it is complete.
