Setting the Electronic Pen and Eraser25Using1 Remove the battery cover on the pen holder,insert the batteries as shown in the figure, andre-attach the battery cover.• Always use “LR03 (AAA size)” (alkaline)batteries and be sure that their polarity isproperly oriented.• Do not mix old and new, different typebatteries when replacing batteries.2 Remove the temporal cap, and set the capand adaptor to the marker for interactive.• Securely push the adaptor into the markerfor interactive as far as it will go.• Do not remove the color identification cap onthe back end of the marker.3 Rotate the pen holder lever to the releaseposition, insert the marker for interactive, andthen return the pen holder lever to the lockposition.• Lock the pen holder lever while inserting themarker all the way into the pen holder untilyou hear a buzzing sound.Detection of the marker color may not workwell unless the marker is inserted fully intothe pen holder.• Do not set the marker near the InteractivePanaboard while using the interactivefunction as this may appear unnecessarystreaks not written on the computer screen.Note• Press down firmly with the point of theElectronic Pen on the screen film until you heara buzzing sound.• For precise positioning, keep the ElectronicPen perpendicularly to the screen during use.Inclined pen angle will cause the shift ofposition.Setting the ElectronicPen and EraserSetting the Electronic PenBattery coverPen holder231Marker for interactiveRemove thetemporal cap.AdaptorCapColor identificationcap231Inserting LockingReleasingPen holder lever2 - 3 mm(1/16 " - 2/16 ")Marker forinteractive2 31
