26To directly operate the recorder, there are 2 ways of how to operate it: operations using the buttons on the front cover and opera-tions using a mouse connected to the recorder.Basic operationOperations using a mouseThe recorder can be operated using a mouse connected tothe mouse port on the front cover.Move the mouse cursor onto a button or a tab on the screenof Monitor 2, and then click on itWhen right-clicking, the operation panel representing thefront cover (the monitor operation button and the cameraselection button on the front cover) will be displayed onMonitor 2.The camera selection and monitor selection canbe made by moving the cursor on the button and click it.When no operation is made for 10 seconds while the opera-tion panel or the setup menu is displayed, the mouse cursorwill disappear.
