Journal is sent if the Relay Communication to thedestination has failed.3 User Parameters“36 Relay XMT Password”Enter a Relay XMT Password (up to 10 characters) to be used for theprotection against unauthorized (outside) stations from accessing yourmachine to relay messages to a G3 fax machine via PSTN. Thispassword should be given out to authorized people only.z Program “Relay XMT Password” to enable this machine towork as a relay station.As the relay password is transmitted in the header of Email, it shouldbe differentiated from the Email address as used by Email or InternetFax. A relay password pre-programmed in this way would be easy toidentify when Internet Fax is received.4 User Parameters40 to 49“Relay Domain (01)” to “RelayDomain (10)”Register up to 10 Domain Names (up to 30 characters) that yourmachine will accept Relayed Transmission.Requests to relay a message to another G3 fax machine via PSTN.Ex: Registered Domain Names(01): panasonic.co.jp(02): abc.iFax.com(03): panasonic.comz To increase network security by protecting from third partyaccess to the relay station. Enter a relay-permitted domainname and an administrator Email address for every relaystation.z If the whole domain name is left blank, Internet Fax willreceive relayed transmission requests from all the domainnames.
