207.Customer care and warrantyProximity of Pixel DefectsBecause pixel and sub pixels defectsof the same type that are near to oneanother may be more noticeable,Philips also specifies tolerances for theproximity of pixel defects.Pixel Defect TolerancesIn order to qualify for repair orreplacement due to pixel defects duringthe warranty period, a TFT Monitorpanel in a Philips flat panel monitormust have pixel or sub pixel defectsexceeding the tolerances listed in thefollowing tables.Two adjacent lit sub pixels:- Red + Blue = Purple- Red + Green = Yellow- Green + Blue = Cyan (Light Blue)Three adjacent lit sub pixels (one whitepixel).NoteA red or blue bright dot must bemore than 50 percent brighter thanneighboring dots while a greenbright dot is 30 percent brighter thanneighboring dots.Black Dot DefectsBlack dot defects appear as pixels or subpixels that are always dark or 'off'.
