Tape drive sled loginformation can be used to help troubleshoot library, tape drive sled, andtape drive issues. You can use the Retrieve Drive Sled Log screen to selectthe appropriate tape drive sled.Details on retrieving tape drive sled log files include:• Tape drive sled logs adhere to the following naming convention:UDS_ID_SN.LOG, where ID identifies the tape drive sled coordinatelocation within the library and SN identifies the tape drive sled serialnumber.• You can select the interface type (SCSI, SAS, or FC) of the tape drivesled from which you want to retrieve logs.• A Save dialog allows you to specify where you want to save the tapedrive sled log files file.For detailed, step-by-step instructions, see your library's online Help. Toaccess the online Help system, click the Help icon at the top right of theweb client or operator panel user interface.You cannot retrieve tape drive sled logs from the operator panel. Thepath to open the appropriate screen is as follows:• From the web client, select Tools > Drive Operations.Identifying FC I/O BladesAdministrative users can flash the green LED on a selected FC I/O bladeto identify the physical location of the I/O blade in the library. Afterperforming this blade operation, go to the back of the library and identifyNote: Bold column headings in the table can be sorted. For example,selecting the Location column heading will sort by locationcoordinates.
