12 DescriptionI/E StationI/E stations enable importing and exporting cartridges with minimal interruption of normal library operations.I/E stations are located on the front of the control module and on the front of expansion modules. A 5U I/Estation has a capacity of six cartridges within a removable magazine. A 9U I/E station has a capacity of 12cartridges within two removable magazines. The I/E stations can also be configured as storage as well as become part of a logical division of libraryresources known as a partition.
