Chapter 2 33Using the Remote ControlDeleting ALL Volume Punchthrough CommandsTo delete all programmed Volume Punchthrough settings and return the remote control backto the factory defaults, press and hold the VOL- button (the device button of the VolumePunchthrough lights). While holding the VOL- button, enter the code, 000, using the numberbuttons. All device buttons turn on for 2 seconds and then turn off. The remote returns to thefactory settings.Note: If an invalid button is pressed, all device buttons blink 4 times and turn off. Atthis point, you must start over.Using the INPUT Button1. Repeatedly press the INPUT button to scroll through the available input sources until youfind the input associated with the device (such as VCR or DVD player) you want to view.2. Once you find the input source you want, stop pressing INPUT.• If you tune to INPUT 1 and your VCR is connected to that input, you will be able toview your VCR. To play, stop, or rewind the VCR tape using the remote that camewith your TV, you must first press the VCR or AUX•HD button (whichever one isprogrammed to the VCR) to put the remote control in VCR mode.There are other ways of selecting a Video Input Channel:• Program the device (VCR, DVD, etc.) buttons on the remote control to automatically tuneto the correct Video Input Channel when pressed. For more details on Auto Tuning, seeChapter 3.• When viewing an input, press ANT•CAB, GO BACK, or INPUT to go back to viewingchannels or use the number buttons to enter the channel number.• To quickly access an input, press the INPUT button and the input number, for example,INPUT + 1 to access INPUT 1.
