Using the TV’s Features36 Chapter 3Canada V-ChipThe English or French Canada V-Chip TV Rating lets you decide whichTV programs can and cannot be viewed. To set TV programming limits:1. Choose Parental Controls from the Main menu. If Parental Controls(TV) have previously been locked, you must enter your password.2. Highlight Canada V-Chip and select either Canada’s English Ratingsor French Ratings.3. Viewing in the company of an adult is therefore strongly recommended for childrenunder the age of 13.8+ (Viewers 8 and over) Not recommended for young children. This program is suitable for mostaudiences, but it contains mild or occasional violence that could upset young children. Viewing in thecompany of an adult is therefore recommended for young children (under the age of 8) who do notdistinguish between reality and imagination.G (General Audience) This program is suitable for audiences of all ages.
