This ishelpful if you have two or three RCA TVs near each other, and they alsohave this menu option, but you want to control them independent of eachother. Program a second RCA TV to any component button, such as DVD orAUX, using the TV2 code 1222. Then select the TV2 option in that TV’sRemote Setup menu. If you have a third RCA TV, program a componentbutton using the TV3 code 1223. Then select the TV3 option in that TV’sRemote Setup menu. Go to Chapter 2 for more information on programmingyour remote.Ethernet SetupAn Ethernet connection allows your TV to be upgraded if a software upgrade isavailable. Connect your TV to a router and cable modem via the ETHERNETjack. Then, go to the Software Upgrade menu to see if a software upgrade isavailable. If you have a NAT (Network Address Translation) /PAT (Port AddressTranslation) component with DHCP capability (router, etc.), no setup isrequired. The TV automatically sets itself up for Ethernet use. If you do nothave a NAT/PAT router, you may need to establish some settings in conjunctionwith your ISP (Internet Service Provider) before you can connect to the Internet.If an IP address isn’t assigned for you, contact your network administrator toaccess the necessary information.A Reset All selection is provided for your convenience if you move to another cityand must enter new information, or enter some incorrect information.Preferences MenuThe Preferences menu allows you to change some aspects of your TV to fit yourpersonal preferences. Features in the Preferences menu are: Closed Captioning,Screen Format, Time Menu, Color Scheme, Translucency, and Menu Language.
