Press the OPEN•CLOSE button on the front of the DVD player.2. Place a disc gently into the tray with the disc’s label facing up.3. Press OPEN•CLOSE or PLAY to close the disc tray.The DVD player reads the disc’s table of contents, and then begins disc playback.4. Press STOP to stop playback.Audio CD Playback FeaturesWhen playing audio CDs, your DVD player has many of the same features that your CD playerhas, including track skip, repeat play, and programmed playback.Selecting a Specific TrackThe current track number and elapsed playback time for that track are displayed on the front ofthe player. You can also see this information by accessing the info banner (by pressing INFO onthe remote).Use the number buttons on the remote to enter the desired track number. You must enter a 2-digitnumber. For tracks 1–9 of a CD, press 0 and then the track number.Track SkipBecause program content on an audio CD can be divided into tracks, you can skip through adisc’s contents one track at a time.• Press and release the CH – button on the remote to go to the beginning of the chapter that isplaying. Press again to go to the beginning of the preceding chapter. When the remote is inTV mode, this button changes the TV to the previous channel (if the remote has beenprogrammed to operate the TV).• Press and release the CH + button on the remote to go to the beginning of the next chapter.When the remote is in TV mode, this button changes the TV to the next channel (if the remotehas been programmed to operate the TV).
