A gap of 75 mm should be leftbetween each side of the cooker ABOVE the hotplate leveland any adjacent vertical surface.For non-combustible surfaces (such as unpainted metal orceramic tiles) this can be reduced to 25 mm.A minimum space of 650 mm is required between the top ofthe hotplate and a horizontal combustible surface.*Any cookerhood should be installed in accordance with thehood manufacturer’s instructions.**Any splashback must be fitted in accordance with themanufacturers instructions. Allowance should be made for theadditional height of the flue trim, which is fitted to the cookerhob.We recommend a gap of 905 mm between units to allow formoving the cooker. Do not box the cooker in – it must stillbe possible to move the cooker in and out for cleaning andservicing.Moving the Cookernn On no account try and move the cooker while it isplugged into the electricity supply.nn The cooker is very heavy, so take great care.We recommend two people manoeuvre the cooker. Makesure that the floor covering is firmly fixed, or removed toprevent it being disturbed when moving the cooker around.To help you, there are two levelling rollers at the back andtwo screw-down levelling feet at the front.Removing the Oven DoorTo remove the oven door, open the door fully. Swivel thelocking ‘U’ clips forward to the locking position (Fig. 7.3). Gripthe sides of the door, lift upwards and then slide the doorforwards (Fig. 7.4).Lowering the Two Rear RollersTo adjust the height of the rear of the cooker, first fit a 13 mmspanner or socket wrench onto the hexagonal adjustingnut (Fig. 7.5).
