Card 12IntroductionFishing patterns are available on POWER boats, to enable you to automatically navigateover a preset course in Auto mode. The patterns available are demonstrated in icon form, asfollows:On fishing boats, the autopilot automatically recognizes your two most often used patternsover a period of time, and places these at the beginning of the menuYou can customize the fishing patterns to obtain the coverage you want. Refer to the ST70+User Reference Manual for details of customizable parameters.ProcedureTo use a fishing pattern:1. At the Pilot Controller keypad, press MENU to display theMain Menu.2. Scroll to the All patterns option and press OK to displaythe All pattern menu.3. Scroll to the pattern you want to use, and press OK.4. The Pattern settings screen is displayed, showing theparameters currently set for the selected pattern. If youwant to change any of the parameters:i. Select the parameter you want to change, then pressOK to select the setup screen.ii.Use the Rotary Control to set the value you want, thenpress OK to save the setting and return to the Patternsettings screen.iii.Repeat steps i and ii as necessary, for other parame-ters.5. When all parameters are set as required and with thePattern settings screen displayed, press AUTO. Theautopilot then steers the boat over the fishing pattern youselected.Returning to manual controlTo return to manual steering at any time, press STANDBY.Applicability: The procedures on this card apply to ST70+ Pilot Controllers used with Raymarine SeaTalk and SeaTalkng autopilotson POWER BOATS only.
