Pull the Burner ON/OFF control box from inside the bottom of thefireplace and position the slots in the bracketover the 2 screws on the left side of thebottom louver. See below. The fitted louverleaves a small gap between faceplate bot-tom and louver top.2) Install bottom louver by sliding the twobracket clips into the brackets located un-derneath the bay door. Secure with 1 screwinto each Bottom Louver Mounting Bracketas per diagram below. Use the bottom holein the bracket.3) Slide the valve extension knobs onto thevalve knobs. Match the correct ext. knobwith the valve knob.OPTIONALREMOTE CONTROLUse the Regency Remote Control Kit approvedfor this unit. Use of other systems may voidyour warranty.The remote control kit comes with a hand heldtransmitter, a receiver and a wall mountingplate.1) Choose a convenient location on the wallto install the receiver and the receptaclebox (protection from extreme heat is veryimportant). Run wires from the fireplace tothat location. Use Thermostat Wire Table.2) Connect the two wires to the gas valve.See diagram below.CAUTIONDo not wire millivoltremote control wiresto 120V wire.3) Install 3 AAA alkaline batteries in transmit-ter and 4 AA alkaline batteries in thereceiver. Install the receiver and its coverin the wall. Switch the remote receiver to"remote" mode. The remote control is nowready for operation.OPTIONALWALL SWITCH1) Run the supplied 15' of wire through theright or left side gas inlet opening.
