Regency ® P33-10 Zero Clearance Direct Vent Gas Fireplace | 35|35installationNote: The logs must not be in the unit.3) Insert the back brick panel by carefullyslipping it between the back wall of thefirebox and the rear log bracket.OPTIONAL BRICKPANELS1) Undo the bottom 2 door latches and openand remove glass door. Remove logs.2) Attach the 2 Rear Brick Retaining clips tothe rear wall. Loosen the screws in the topand rear wall of the firebox and slide theretaining clips into position (tight against thefirebox top) and then tighten the screws.4) Put the side panels in next. Slide them infrom the front and push them flat up againstthe wall. Be very careful not to scratch themon the firebox hardware.5) Slide the Top Brick Panel into position andslide the Top Brick Retaining clips so thatthey hold the Top Brick Panel in place andtighten down the screws.LOG SET INSTALLATIONNotchBracketBracket250254Vermiculite Vermiculite Vermiculite250254The 3-digit numbers (i.e. 250) aremolded into the rear of each log.Read the instructions below carefullyand refer to the diagrams. If logsare broken do not use the unit untilthey are replaced. Broken logs caninterfere with the pilot operation.Log Kit # 431-930 contains thefollowing pieces:A) 250 Rear LogB) 254 Middle Cross LogC) 253 Front Left Cross LogD) 251 Rear Left LogE) 252 Front Right Cross LogF) Embers 902-156G) Vermiculite 902-179H) Rock Wool 902-153I) Platinum Embers 946-669(supplied with packaged manual)NOTE: If you will be installing the optionalBrick Panels, install the Brick Panelsprior to installing the logs.1) Carefully remove the logs from the box andunwrap them. The logs are fragile, handlewith care - do not force into position.2) Sprinkle the vermiculite and embers aroundthe firebox base.3) Place the Log 250 on the rear log supportpins with the flat side to the back.4) Place Log 254 on the front right side of theburner. Push the back of the log againstthe 2 brackets with the notch on the bottomright side of the log fitting into the right sideof the grate.5) Position Log 253 across the cutouts inLogs 250 and 254 with the notch on theleft side of the log fitting into the 2nd gratetab.Cutouts2nd Grate Tab253250254D) 251 A) 250C) 253 B) 254 E) 252
