Theoutput is tri state. Data only will be sent on request with the correct address.Initalization and memory check with RS485 are performed as well but without sending any datafor the output is disabled (tri state).While initializing after power up the weather station doesn't respond to any commands for app.10 seconds.For controlling the weather station with RS485 the address of the weather station must be addedafter the ! or ? command, otherwise the unit won't respond to any command.The default address with RS485 is 1.The command for reading the current data set therefore is ?1U for example contrary to ?U withall the other interface versions.
