EB 8052 EN 9-13Servicing4. Replace the gasket as described in sec-tion 9.4.1.5. Unthread the stem connector nut (9) andlock nut (10) from the plug stem (5).6. Unscrew the threaded bushing (8).7. Pull the plug with plug stem (5) out of theinsulating section (21).8. Pull the entire packing out of the packingchamber using a suitable tool.9. Make sure that the guide bushing (7) isnot damaged. If necessary, replace theguide bushing using a suitable tool.10. Unscrew the seat (4) using a suitabletool.11. Apply a suitable lubricant to the threadand the sealing cone of the new seat.12. Screw in the seat (4). Observe tighteningtorques.13. Apply a suitable lubricant to all the pack-ing parts and to the new plug stem (5).We recommend replacing the packing aswell. See section 9.4.2.14. Slide the new plug with plug stem (5) in-to the insulating section (21).15. Place the insulating section (21) togetherwith the plug stem and plug (5) onto thebody (1).Version with V-port plug: place the insu-lating section (21) onto the valve body,making sure that the largest V-shapedport of the V-port plug faces toward thevalve outlet. See the 'Mounting the actu-ator onto the valve' section.16. Carefully slide the packing parts over theplug stem extension into the packingchamber using a suitable tool. Observethe proper sequence (see Fig. 9-2).17. Firmly press the plug (5) into the seat (4).Fasten down the insulating section (21)with the body nuts (14). Tighten the nutsgradually in a crisscross pattern. Ob-serve tightening torques.18. Screw in the threaded bushing (8) andtighten it. Observe tightening torques.19. Place yoke (3) on the insulating section(21) and fasten tight using the castellatednut (92).20.
