installing the dishwasher _1502 INSTALLING THE DISHWASHERSTEP 8 LEVELING THE DISHWASHER1. Open the door and place the level against the top of thetub on the inside and check if the the dishwasher is level.If it is not level, rotate the leveling legs at the bottom frontof the dishwasher until the dishwasher is level.See the fi rst note below for instructions on adusting theheight of the front legs.2. Use the level to check if the dishwasher is level front toback, as shown in the figure to the right.If the dishwasher is not level front to back, adjust theheight of the rear leg until the dishwasher is level.See the second note below for instructions on adustingthe the rear leg.3. Open the door of the dishwasher andcheck if both the tub and door clearancesare correct.If not, rotate the leveling legs on thebottom front of the dishwasher.You can aslo check this by placing a levelagainst an inside front vertical surface ofthe tub.If the leveling legs are rotated to the right (counterclockwise), they are loosened and the front of thedishwasher is raised. If they are rotated to the left(clockwise), they are tightened and the front of thedishwasher is lowered.To adjust the height of a rear leg, turn the Hexbolt (atthe front of the base) to the left to raise the back of thedishwasher using the proper tool (Hex L-wrench orsimilar tool).Before you move the dishwasher for installation, make sure to adjust the height of the legsso the legs are as short as possible.
