If they are dirty, thequality of the transmission image andcopy becomes degraded.If you have document jams in automaticfeeding, it is recommended to clean theADF rubber surface as follows.1. Lift the control panel using hand.2. Disassemble the white roller asfollows.Both ends of the roller are terminatedwith bushings which are snapped shutwith small tabs. Push the tabs slightlyinwards in the direction of ‘A’, thenrotate it in the direction of ‘B’ until itreaches the slot as shown in the figurebelow. Then pull the roller upwards inthe direction of ‘C’.Be careful not to lose the bushing on oneend of the roller when disassembling.3. Wipe the roller clean with a soft clothdampened with alcohol. Then, drythoroughly.Do not use the document having contentswritten by pencil on the back side. Itcause the white roller to be stain. Whenthe roller becomes dirty, the copieddocument will not reproduced clear.
