8Removing the Back Cover Remove the back cover by inserting a fingernail intothe slot on the top of your phone (1) then lift the coverup (2).Caution! Do not bend or twist the back cover excessively.Doing so may damage the cover.Installing the microSIM Card and MicroSD cardWhen you subscribe to a cellular network, you are providedwith a plug-in microSIM card loaded with your subscriptiondetails, such as your PIN, available optional services, andmany others features. You can also install a MicroSD card(memory card) to hold additional media (optional).Important! The plug-in microSIM card information and itscontacts can be easily damaged by scratching orbending, so be careful when handling, inserting, orremoving the card. Keep all SIM cards out of reachof small children.Important! Before removing or replacing the microSIM card,make sure the phone is switched off. To turn thephone off, hold down the key until theDevice options pop up displays, then tap Power off.Note: MicroSD cards should be formatted within the Storagemenu. Using an older or slow microSD card can affectcamera performance, especially for video recording.
