2.9Sending a fax2 OperationLoading document1. Turn the page face down.2. Adjust the document guides to match the width of the document.3. Slide the sheet down into the document tray until it’s gripped by themachine.The automatic document feeder sizes and pulls in the page. The displayshows ‘DOCUMENT READY’ and the remaining memory capacityalternatively.You can insert up to 50 sheets (20 lb Paper) at a time. If you insert morethan one sheet, make sure the bottom sheet enters first. Stagger theleading edge of the sheets slightly, and insert the sheets with a slightpush to ensure smooth feeding.To add pages while the fax is being sent, insert them into the loading sloton top of the already loaded sheets.4.
