2.18 Receiving a faxReceiving automatically in FAX mode1. Press and hold Rcv.Mode for about 2 seconds until the display changes.please repeat it until the display shows ‘FAX’ in the display windows.2. When a fax call comes in, the machine answers on the preset ring andreceives it automatically.Note : To change the number of rings before the machine answers an incomingcall, see page 2.45.To adjust ringer volume, press Menu, System Setup on the one-touchkeypad, Start/Enter to access the ringer volume mode, then use „„ or † toset the desired loudness.Receiving automatically in TEL/FAX modeTo use this mode, you must attach a regular phone to the TEL jack on theback of the machine, you can select TEL/FAX mode to receive faxtransmissions and answer voice calls.1.
