Changing Your Settings 94Network ModeYour phone is capable of operating in a number of countries onboth CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) and GSM (GlobalSystems for Mobile) networks. While in the United States or onother CDMA roaming networks, use your phone in Verizon CDMAMode. Use your phone in Global Mode while in countries servicedby GSM network. You must have a SIM card in order to selectGSM and Global Mode. For a complete list of countries, pleasevisit: www.verizonwireless.com/vzglobal.Note: When your phone is in Verizon (CDMA) mode, it does not necessarilymean that you are on the Verizon Wireless Network. You may roam oncertain other carriers’ CDMA networks domestically and internationallywhen your phone is in Verizon (CDMA) mode.
