However, certain electronic equipmentmay not be shielded against the RF signals from your wirelessmobile device. Consult the manufacturer to discuss alternatives.Implantable Medical DevicesA minimum separation of six (6) inches should be maintainedbetween a handheld wireless mobile device and an implantablemedical device, such as a pacemaker or implantable cardioverterdefibrillator, to avoid potential interference with the device.Persons who have such devices:• Should ALWAYS keep the mobile device more than six (6) inches fromtheir implantable medical device when the mobile device is turned ON;• Should not carry the mobile device in a breast pocket;• Should use the ear opposite the implantable medical device tominimize the potential for interference;• Should turn the mobile device OFF immediately if there is any reasonto suspect that interference is taking place;• Should read and follow the directions from the manufacturer of yourimplantable medical device.
