119Phone SettingsAirplane ModeWhen set to On, Airplane Mode disables all radio functions of yourphone. This prevents you from receiving or making calls (exceptemergency calls), but allows you to use other features (such asthe camera and the Tools) safely in sensitive environments, suchas on board an aircraft.1. From the Settings menu, select Phone Settings ➔Airplane Mode.The following settings appear in the display:• On — Disables the radio transmitter and receiver in your phone• Off — Enables the radio transmitter and receiver in your phone2. Select the desired Airplane Mode setting.LanguageThe language option on your phone can change the language ofvoice prompts, menus, and key-input.1. From the Settings menu, select Phone Settings ➔Language. The following settings appear in the display:• English• Spanish2. Select the desired Language setting.SecurityUse the Security menu to lock your phone, set up emergencynumbers, set restrictions, as well as other security options.Lock PhoneLocking the phone limits all outgoing calls except calls to 911emergency and the three user-programmable emergencynumbers. You can lock the phone manually during use, or set thephone to lock automatically when it is turned on. With the phonein lock mode, you can answer incoming calls, but you mustunlock the phone to place outgoing calls (except to emergencyand secret numbers).1. From the Settings menu, select Phone Settings ➔Security. You’re prompted to enter the lock code.Note: The default lock code is the last four digits of your telephone number.2. Enter the lock code, then select Lock Phone.
