23Pause Dialing From a Contacts Entry• If you speed dial a contact that contains four-second (T) pause(s)simply wait for the pauses to pass and the dialing to complete.• If you speed dial a contact that contains hard (P) pauses, wait for theappropriate prompt(s) from the number you are calling (credit cardnumber, bank account number, and so on) and press to continueyour dialing sequence.Note: For more information about dialing pauses, refer to “Manual PauseCalling” on page 21.Making a Call — Quick Search DialingUse the Quick Search feature to dial any number stored in yourContacts list by pressing the number keys that correspond to thefirst few letters of a Contact name.Note: For information on activation, see “Quick Search” on page 123.Quick Search Dialing a ContactTo find and dial a Contact, do the following:1. In standby mode, press the number keys that correspondto the first few letters of the Contact name, as shown.2. Press the Up navigation key.
