Call Functions 22To manually call a number with pause(s) without storing it to yourContacts:1. Enter the number you wish to call.2. Press the Options soft key.A pop-up menu containing the following options appears inthe display:• P Pause — a hard pause (awaits input from you).• T Pause — a four-second pause.Tip: You can create pauses longer than four seconds by entering multipleT Pauses.3. Use the navigation keys to highlight the desired pauseoption.4. Press to enter the highlighted pause into yournumber sequence.5. Press to call the number.Making a Call — Speed DialingYou can store phone numbers and contact names in your phone’sContacts list. Speed Dialing lets you quickly and easily dial anycontact in your Contacts list by using that contact’s locationnumber in the list. You can assign and change location(speed dial) numbers for your contacts. (For more information,refer to “Assigning Speed Dial Numbers” on page 40.)One-Touch DialingSpeed Dial numbers 002 through 009 are special One-Touchdialing numbers.
