You can create up to ten user groups.For details about how to create and use a closeduser group, contact your service provider.Example: A company lends SIM cards to itsemployees and wants to restrictoutgoing calls to members of the sameteam.Activating a Closed User GroupIf you select the Closed User Group menu, youcan enter the CUG function. You can now accessthe following options after pressing the Selectsoft key:Network Selection (Menu 9.4)The Network Selection feature enables you toautomatically or manually select the networkused when roaming outside of your home area.Note: You can select a network other than yourhome network only if there is a validroaming agreement between them.To automatically or manually select the networkwhen roaming:1. When Network Selection displays, press theSelect soft key.2. Press the Up or Down key until theappropriate option highlights and then pressthe OK soft key.If you select Automatic, you are connectedto the first available network when roaming.If you select Manual, the phone scans for theavailable networks. Go to step 3.3. Press the Up or Down key until the networkyou want highlights and then press the OKsoft key.You are connected to that network.
