Changing Your Settings 113Nearby devicesThis option allows you to share your media files with nearbydevices connected to the same Wi-Fi network using DLNA.1. From the Home screen, tap ➔ Settings ➔ Moresettings ➔ Nearby devices.2. Tap the File sharing checkbox to turn File sharing on.Your phone scans for available devices.The following options are available:• Shared contents: Select the content to share.• Device name: Select to rename your phone, then tap Save.• Access control: Select Allow all or Only allowed device.• Allowed device list: Tap to open, then tap the names of availabledevices to add a checkmark and enable sharing.• Not-allowed devices list: Shows devices that are not accessible.• Download to: Select a storage location for downloaded files.• Upload from other devices: Choose whether to Always accept,Always ask, or Always reject.AllShare CastWith AllShare Cast, you can wirelessly share your phone'sscreen with a Wi-Fi-enabled TV using the AllShare Cast Hubaccessory. Your phone and the device you want to share withmust be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. For moreinformation, refer to “Connect to a Wi-Fi Network” on page149.Note: In order to use Allshare Cast, you must have already setup and logged in to your Samsung account. Tap the OFF / ON icon to turn AllShare Cast on.Your phone automatically scans for other compatibledevices.3. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect with the TV.Note: This feature allows a connection between your phoneand the optional AllShare Cast Hub, via a shared Wi-Ficonnection. The AllShare Cast Hub then allows thecommunicating TV to mirror what is being shown on thephone's display.
