Messages74• Duration: allows you to set when a text, an image or asound displays on the message presentation screen andthe length of time it will display for. When the message isopened, the display shows the item after a specified timein Set Start Time and scrolls to the next item after aspecified time in Set Duration.• Send: allows you to send the message.• Save: saves the message in the Draft (Menu 1.2.4) orTemplates (Menu 1.2.5) box for later use.• Settings: allows you to change the message settings.For details about setting options, see page 91.• Add Destination: allows you to enter destinationnumbers or addresses. See steps 6 to 10.• Preview: shows your message as it will display on therecipient’s phone.5. When you are finished creating the message, choose Sendfrom the options and press the Select soft key.6. Select a destination type (To, Cc or Bcc) and press theSelect soft key.7. Choose one of the following options and press the Selectsoft key:• Phone Number: allows you to enter the phone numberyou want.• E-Mail Address: allows you to enter the e-mail addressof the recipient.• Phone Book: allows you to retrieve a number from yourPhonebook.8. Enter a number or an e-mail address, or select a numberfrom Phonebook.Messages759. When the correct number or address displays, press theOK soft key.10.To add a destination, press the Select soft key when AddDestination highlights. Repeat from step 7.If you want to edit the destinations, select one and pressthe Select soft key. You can change or delete it.11.To enter additional numbers or addresses to the otherdestination types, press the C key or the soft key andrepeat steps 6 through 10.You can enter up to 10 destinations each for To, CC andBcc.12.When you are finished entering the destinations, selectSend Message and press the Select soft key.Your phone sends the message.Inbox (Menu 1.2.2)Viewing a Message When You Receive itWhen a new multimedia message comes in, the display showsa text notification along with the sender’s number.1. Press the Select soft key to view brief information aboutthe message, such as the sender’s number, the messagesize and the subject.If you want to view the message later in the Inbox, pressthe Exit soft key.2. To scroll through the message information, press the Up orDown key.
